Biotech had developed a novel approach to regenerative medicine with a large number of potential applications in a range of therapeutic areas. Client was finding it challenging to systematically identify and prioritize opportunities to fill the pipeline behind their lead indication.

A bespoke set of criteria to evaluate opportunities

Clarified the capabilities and strategic intent and aligned the client stakeholders behind those. Developed a clear set of criteria adapted to specific circumstances of the client with which to rate each opportunity. Test-drove these criteria on a number of pre-existing opportunities, and prioritized them accordingly.

Company has a clear process to assess opportunities

Ability to present a summary view of the opportunities at various degrees of detail depending on whether this is for the Board, the leadership team, or discussions within functional groups.
